Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; local storage is a similar store that only this site can read. We keep both to the minimum: enough to make the site and the products work and to remember choices you made.

We set no advertising cookie, no cross-site tracker and nothing that identifies you personally on comriq.com.

On comriq.com

Your preferences (local storage; one short value each)

• comriq-theme: light, dark or system.
• comriq-region: the price book you chose: INR, USD or AED.

If your browser blocks storage, the site still works; it simply forgets these choices between visits. Riq, the site assistant, stores nothing: the conversation disappears when you close or reload the page.

In the products

Set only for people signed in.

Strictly necessary

• Sign-in session: one cookie for comriq.com and its product addresses (people., work., books., stay., campus.comriq.com), so one sign-in covers every product you are entitled to and one sign-out ends all of them. It is marked HttpOnly and Secure, so no script in a page can read it, and it expires with your session (at most 24 hours for owners and admins, 30 days for others). It cannot be turned off.
• cq_device: a random identifier set once per browser, HttpOnly, one year, so your Security page can tell your own devices apart and warn you about a sign-in from a new one. It carries nothing about you.
• cq_tenant: the workspace you last used, so the product's address alone takes you back there. Expires after one year; no script in the page can read it.

Comriq staff only, during a support request

• cq_support: set on a Comriq employee's own browser while they have your workspace open read-only to help with something you asked about. It expires with the support session, at most one hour, and no script can read it. It is never set for a customer or a visitor.

Staff console only

• comriq-console-nav and comriq-console-groups: the console sidebar's layout, for signed-in Comriq staff.

What we do not use

No advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and no analytics at all on comriq.com today. If we add measurement later it will be a cookieless, first-party tool that stores nothing on your device, and it will be named here first. Because nothing here is used for tracking or advertising, this site does not show a cookie banner; the preferences above are stored only because you chose them. If we ever add a cookie that needs consent, we will ask before setting it.
